College Basketball Workout Programs
The best basketball players are known to be those who make smart decisions on court' their ability to anticipate moves, spot opportunities for the team and make smart money-time decisions, makes them legendary. It's a controversial topic isn't it -- fitness training for juniors and youths. After all... the formative years should be about skill and technical development right? No time for fitness. They can worry about that when they're older.

And then there's the scare stories... like "strength training in juniors can stunt their growth" or "too much running will cause stress-related injuries in growing bones".

Exercise. You know how it goes. You have an epiphany and make up
your mind that this time you are going to stick with an exercise
program. The first week goes great...so does the second. Then
the third week blues kick in and by week 4 that motivation you
felt in the beginning has moved to the couch. We have all been
there.
Just recently, researchers have found that people are much more
successful in sticking to an exercise regime if it matches their
personalities. To stay motivated, you should ...Read the rest of this entry »

Taking every opportunity to distribute my Mom Looks Great
postcards, I stopped by a children's clothing store one Sunday
afternoon. Upon leaving the parking lot, my six year old son
caught a glimpse of "those ribbons with two lines". In my
half-engaged attention, I acknowledged his observation that
there were "more than three" on this one particular car. From
his persistence to gain my feedback, I began to focus on our
conversation. I informed him that I was not exactly clear of

I have observed that the influence of credit card companies have now spread to nearly every aspect of human life. For instance, people who travel frequently can gain travel benefits by using special credit cards that are affiliated with hotel chains and airlines. Those who are generous enough to participate actively in charity work can use charity credit cards to make donations every time they make purchases. Credit cards have also infiltrated the world of sports in the form of sports credit ...Read the rest of this entry »

Lately, I've been receiving a lot of questions referring to the
latest studies and research findings, and one question that I
receive most queries about concerns the role that stretching
plays as part of the warm up.
Currently, there seems to be a lot of confusion about how and
when stretching should be used as part of the warm up, and some
people are under the impression that stretching should be
avoided altogether.
This is a very important issue and needs to be clarified
immediately. The ...Read the rest of this entry »

1st Point - When victims attack!
Let me see if I understand this. The accuser in Kobe Bryant's

It's a week 11 NFL match up of division foes. The Seahawks lead the series 8-6 and have plowed through the 49ers in the last 6 meetings. They could very well post another 14+ point victory this week.
